00:33, Jam whispers: wow...
02:46, Jam whispers: Lucas got shot! Grr... If I had been there...
02:49, Jam imagines himself going into a rage and running at the commies, shooting madly and screaming his head off.
05:40, Speeder> Dude, I never thought it would be SOOOOOO hard record a video of the game O.O
06:12, Cryoburner whispers: One of these, maybe? http://www.anewmorning.com/2009/01/06/5-free-alternatives-to-fraps
06:34, Speeder> Fraps in particlar, use some shitty compression OR runs really slow (when not compressing)
06:36, Speeder> CamStudio is plainly too slow (it cause massive frame drops)
07:44, Cryoburner> Which was running too slow while recording? The game, or the recorded video?
07:46, Cryoburner> You might try reducing the 'max framerate' slider in camstudio's options to keep it from using too much CPU time.
07:50, Cryoburner> If the game runs at a decent speed, but the video only records a few frames per second, you can increase camstudio's priority by going to "options > program options > recording thread priority"
07:52, Cryoburner> With a combination of the two (and maybe trying a diffferent video codec) you might be able to balance a reasonable framerate in both the game and video stream.
08:01, Cryoburner whispers: Or get a faster computer. :P
23:07, Jam> I think I've found a security vulnerability... I managed to run a javascript ("alert(document.cookie)") in my local Postline. Should I tell Alex?
23:08, Jam whispers: Or maybe it's nothing... I really don't know much about website security...
23:09, Cryoburner eats the cookie.
23:09, Jam> There. Problem solved.
