01:16, Speeder> Cryo ever played dwarf fortress? If you try to flood the entire room (where the dog and the pipe is located) with concrete, we would get a one of those fortress-ending floods :P (if you get what I mean)
01:34, Speeder> Jam, I added those forum.
01:34, Shadowlord> I doubt that concrete can be pressurized :P
01:35, Shadowlord> so it shouldn't flow upwards in DF, if you could make it and flood a room with it, that is :P
01:36, Jam> Yay! Now I just need to get an account... Too bad "Jam" is already taken...
01:42, Jam whispers: Strangely, I glanced up at the chat frame a split-second BEFORE Speeder sent that message. It's almost as if I knew it would appear...
01:54, Jam is psychic.
11:42, 4616599> Hmmm...Chrome seems to be working again. Or at least that's what Mary Lou and her AI forces want me to think...
11:43, Märy lou whispers: Resistance is futile!
11:44, 4616599 whispers: Shush!
12:04, Mingamango181> I have a SC shirt.
12:05, Mingamango181> http://anynowhere.com/bb/cd/jpgs/lLQgc8Dg5SmfVjk54dRh42UhUrHhdhHhe58i.jpg
12:59, Neuzd was expecting a hydra on that shirt, or something like that :|
15:13, Cryoburner whispers: There might be one on there. They are rather small, you know.
15:52, Jam> Um... Am I wearing an oxygen mask?
15:56, Cryoburner whispers: Maybe? :P
15:58, Jam realizes suddenly that Gligar doesn't have the chat frame open...
16:00, Jam writes a PM...
16:02, Cryoburner whispers: At least, I don't recall you putting one on. :P
16:16, Jam whispers: oops... :P
16:39, Cryoburner whispers: Hey... I didn't see that video of Mary Lou hunting kittens before. It was hidden. :3
16:48, Jam> Where?
17:40, Buuks whispers: in the hidden area of course.
17:41, Buuks whispers: or is it off course?
17:45, Buuks whispers: questions, questions....
18:11, Speeder> Dude... my dog just did it again :/ There are a bathroom outside the house, the dog removed the discharge mechanism (it is one of those old external ones)
18:11, Speeder> Now I needed to shut down the house water, because it was flowing out the wall like a water cannon...
18:15, Raptorjedi> Cover it up? Keep him out of the bathroom? Stop leaving him outside unattended? :3=
18:16, Cryoburner> Eat him!
18:17, Cryoburner> Om nom nom.
18:18, Speeder> The bathroom is its house (it has a door... meaning that we can shut the dog inside when needed...)
18:20, Raptorjedi> That... makes no sense.
18:21, Raptorjedi> Did you think that your dog is chewing on the pipe because it hates being locked up?
18:21, Raptorjedi> Because that certainly is possible.
18:23, Cryoburner whispers: Or maybe he likes getting locked up, and it just gets him excited!
18:23, Cryoburner whispers: Because that certainly is possible.
18:23, Raptorjedi> Only if you're insane
18:24, Speeder> It rarely is locked up, he has a HUGE yard to play (my house has a yard that is about 3 times the size of the house itself)
18:25, Speeder> The only thing is that seemly it got tired of finding stuff on the yard to chew, and now is removing pipes from the walls ...
18:26, Raptorjedi> You leave your dog outside at all times?
18:27, Speeder> Yep, the only place we don't allow it to go is the garage+service area (because it tend to steal drying clothes, or grab sandbags and spread sand all over the place)
18:28, Raptorjedi> Poor dog.
18:28, Speeder> this area is already separated, because the previous dogs (we had 2 dogs, that decided to kill each other, so we left one in the yard and one in the garage)
18:28, Cryoburner whispers: I once had a dog who hated being inside.
18:28, Raptorjedi> The first thing to do is remove access to the pipes the dog is chewing on.
18:28, Speeder> Yep :/
18:29, Speeder> I wonder how (the house was built by some silly guy, it has all sorts of bad engineering, including good part of the plumbing outside the house exterior wall, because he don't planned before hand when making the walls...)
18:30, Cryoburner whispers: He was part husky though, and preferred freezing temperatures. :P
18:31, Cryoburner whispers: Hang bacon on the pipes. He might eat the bacon, and forget about the pipes.
18:32, Cryoburner whispers: Just keep a steady supply of bacon on the pipes, and you'll be fine.
18:34, Cryoburner whispers: Maybe you could add another pipe to automatically tranport the bacon.
18:34, Cryoburner whispers: You could keep a vat of it on the roof.
18:45, Cryoburner whispers: Or just build a wooden box covering the pipe. Either way, really.
18:53, Jam whispers: The dog could just chew through the box, couldn't it?
18:57, Speeder> Yep, the only thing that stops him is thick steel (aluminiium it already proved to rip apart, and think steel it bends... at least...)
18:58, Speeder> The dog is young, the police donated to us after they did not wanted it. I know now, why the police did not wanted the dog :/
18:59, Jam> What about something really spicy that you could spray on all the pipes?
19:00, Speeder> No idea, the dogs sense of taste is different from ours anyway...
19:06, Jam> A know someone who had a dog that chewed on weird things. They put cayenne pepper on it. The dog still tried to eat it, but it didn't enjoy it very much. :P
19:09, Speeder> Considering that my dog ate baloons... I dunno :P
19:09, Speeder> I mean, ALL other objects, it only chewed, baloons, it ate. (very strange... And it even made a disgust face while eating, but ate it anyway)
19:13, Jam> But will it eat them if they burn it's tongue? Or maybe if it tasted bitter? Or sour?
19:20, Speeder> Like I said, the dog sense of taste is quite different. I have no idea of what thing they truly dislike.
19:21, Jam whispers: I would think it would be something like a human's, only much more sensitive.
19:22, Speeder> Nope, it is totally different, they have no sense of sweet for example, because they don't need sugar in their diet.
19:22, Cryoburner> Speeder's dog -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CoiFGva_JoY
19:27, Cryoburner> Presumably not speeder's dog, but amusing anyway. :P -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zJv0gssH2s
19:32, Speeder> Oo I wonder why this dog even FEARS the cans... (btw: my mom have a duck like that too, and the dog seriously want to grab it... it even tried jumping UP a 3 meter high window to get it)
20:16, Cryoburner whispers: Maybe you could put cans around the pipe.
